Is BruxRelief HIPAA compliant?

Yes, we use the advanced Google Cloud Platform. Google uses several layers of encryption to protect patient data at rest Patient data is stored and encrypted at the storage level using either AES256 or AES128. Patient data storage is split into chunks, and each chunk is encrypted with a unique data encryption key and anonymous.

Does BruxRelief securely backup my patient's data so it's never lost?

A

Yes, with Google's Cloud Platform, data remains safe and encrypted throughout the backup process. In addition, the backup system further encrypts each backup file independently with its own data encryption key (DEK), derived from a key stored in Google's Key Management Service (KMS) plus a randomly generated per-file seed at backup time.

Is BruxRelief a diagnostic medical device?

No, BruxRelief is a general wellness health tracking device. Think of it as FitBit for bruxism. BruxRelief is a battery-powered device that assesses a patient's temporalis muscle activity and reports these results to the patient's smartphone via the BruxRelief app.

How do I get access to the BruxRelief app? How does my patient get access?

A

Once you register for your BruxRelief Clinician account, you will receive an email with download instructions and your BruxRelief "Clinician Code". You will download the app available on Apple App Store or Google Play and simply sign-in with your Clinician Code. For your patients, all you have to do is use your BruxReilef app to send your patient a referral link to their email. Your patient will be provided download instructions for the BruxRelief app and once they sign up they will be added to your "Current Assessments" screen in your Clinician Account.

How do you keep my BruxRelief headband updated so I never need to upgrade?

Because your device connects to your smartphone through our BruxRelief app we are able to perform Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Meaning, you'll never have to worry about connecting your device to your computer or buying a new device to get the latest device functionality.

How does the refund process work?
